Ferrie Tails Blue Eyed Blonde

Blondie is the one and only full size goat we have. She has lived next door to us most of her life. She was generously given to us by our neighbors, who also happen to be great friends. Thank you Gray family!!!!!

She joined our herd in Spetember of 2007 with her best friend/guardian, Sockit. She is a Boer and Kiko cross which makes her a Boki. She was born March 15, 2006. She has ice blue eyes and is very sweet and loving. She is quite a talker so she fits in well with our loud mouth boys. Blondie, Sockit and Apache have their own pasture and share a fence line with the boys. 

I don't know, nor does it really matter if she is registered. She was/is just Blondie. I decided, in keeping with the Toby Keith tradition, to give her a full name after one of his songs. I also gave her our herd name so she'd be just as "official" as the rest of our herd.

Blondie is quite an attention hog and she absolutley loves to be petted in between her horns. She will stand for hours as long as you are petting her. She is pretty cooperative, but she definitely has a mind of her own. She has perfected "the lean", this is what she does when you try to leave her pasture. She gets in front of you and leans on you as you walk so she can stop you from leaving.

Blondie is our only doe, our only horned goat, our only floppy eared goat and our only goat who's best buddy is a horse!!!
