Agape Oaks Big Bull Ryder
This is Ryder, we also have his brother Wiley. They are Mini LaManchas. Their mama is 1/2 Nigerian Dwarf and 1/2 LaMancha and their daddy is a registered Nigerian Dwarf. He was born September 4th, 2006. Technically he and Wiley were born at the same time. Wiley's head was out and then Ryder decided he couldn't wait so out his head came. Pam, Inna and Andrew of Agape Oaks had to help Mocha with the rest of the delivery. I won't go into details, but needless to say, these boys brought whole new definition to the term "Labor Day".
I was only going to have 4 goats(ok so I have 11 now), but the week after I picked up Stevie and Tucker, these two were born. I received a birth announcement from Pam, Inna and Andrew. I took one look at their pictures and knew they were coming home with me. A special thanks to the Ebert's for giving us these precious boys.
Ryder loves to climb on everything and everybody. When he was born and in the pen with the other kids and moms he would climb on the other kids and make them walk around with him laying sideways over them. Mind you he was twice their size! Ryder is Mr. Independent, he prefers to be just outside the group, not right in the middle of it. When he wants attention he lets you know. He will climb your leg or stand on his "goat" house (large dog house) and yell. He seems to think he is a human. His favorite trick is to walk on his hind legs. He is very good at it and can go a long way before losing his balance.
