Agape Oaks

Storm's A Brewin'

Stormy was born April 4th, 2008 during a major storm, so that's where he got his name(sort of). He is yet another Agape Oaks baby....I can't say enough how wonderful the Ebert's are and I am proud to call them friends. He is unique to our herd in many ways. He was picked out before his mother was even bred, he was the first to not be named after Toby Keith and he was the first addition to our herd that my dear husband didn't argue about. Let me explain: I absolutely LOVE the voice on Agape Oaks Stoney and the markings of her and two of her daughters,  so since 2 of her daughters were first fresheners I staked my claim on a little boy that looked like them if he were to be born with hopes that he would sound like his grandma. About the Toby Keith naming, I had used most names I could think of that I liked and since I was positive my hubby would not be thrilled about 2 more goats his name was created 1) he was born during a storm and 2) I figured a storm would be brewing at my house once I revealed we were gettting 2 more goats. I was pleasantly surprised when John just said ok when I told him Stormy and Trouble were joining our herd when they were old enough. (Just to clarify, he loves all our goats, but when I first said I was getting goats I told him we were ONLY getting 3).

Stormy is a tiny little guy and has the most striking markings of any of our goats. He is very vocal and, yes, he is starting to sound more like his grandma every day. He joined our herd with Trouble who was born 1 day after he was. He loves attention and he always wants to jump on you or be in your arms. He has decided he wants to be buddies with Stevie and Cowboy and to my surprise they are letting him.
