Agape Oaks
Askin' For Trouble
My rotten little Trouble. He was born April 5th, 2008. He is yet another Agape Oaks baby....I can't say enough how wonderful the Ebert's are and I am proud to call them friends. He is unique to our herd in many ways. He was picked out before his mother was even bred, he was the first to not be named after Toby Keith and he was the first addition to our herd that my dear husband didn't argue about. Let me explain: I absolutely LOVE the on Flat Rocks Mica and since she was a first freshener I staked my claim on a little boy that looked like her if he were to be born. About the Toby Keith naming, I had used most names I could think of that I liked and since I was positive my hubby would not be thrilled about 2 more goats his name was created 1) after he was born he was the first of the triplets to stand and nurse, and then he proceeded to wander off from his mother, and I remarked oh boy he's gonna be trouble 2) I figured I was asking for trouble once I revealed we were gettting 2 more goats. I was pleasantly surprised when John just said ok when I told him Trouble and Stormy were joing our herd when they were old enough. (Just to clarify, he loves all our goats, but when I first said I was getting goats I told him we were ONLY getting 3).
Trouble is full of himself. He is small still but that does not slow him down. He takes on the big boys and doesn't seem to realize he is half their size. He is bonding to Tucker which I have decided is a very smart move on his part, since Tucker is the king. He is very sweet and loves to be held. He would like you to give him a bottle but I keep telling him he's a big boy now. Trouble is very smart and knows how to work the crowd. He reads people and goats very well. His latest antics include tormenting Blondie from the other side of the fence...see I told you he was Trouble!
